Professionally I have been in radio since I was in high school at 15 years old. I started working at a station in Kansas City Missouri near where I grew up. I continued working in radio while attending college at Central Missouri State University. After college I continued to work on air and as a General Manager of stations in Central Missouri before returning to Kansas City. I came to Rapid City 10 years ago and after working in radio and television here, I took a brief timeout to work retail for a year and a half. Then I jumped at the opportunity to be the Program Director and Morning Show partner for the new Classic Hits Q 92.3.
Professionally Kim has been in the Modesto, California market for the ten years before she came to Rapid. She worked various times of the day in formats ranging from hits from the 80’s to Classic Rock where she wound up working mornings with a partner named Mike. (Despite working with a Mike in the mornings previously, she still agreed to do it again on Classic Hits Q 92.3.) She's been finding success too with her new liquid protein diet...
T.D. joins Q 92-3 from Los Angeles where he was working for KLAC. However, he originates from Colorado and looks forward to being closer to home. Catch T.D. in the afternoons from 2 – 7 and make sure you call your requests in so he can play them back during 5 O'clock Car Tunes.
Who is Shane Garry? He’s the one who made the mistake of letting Mike Swafford write his biography. Professionally, Shane’s been a street musician for years earning money only with his guitar and hat. He might have made more money if he had worn clothes. Shane started in radio over seven years ago on Q 92.3’s sister station X-Rock. When you have a music question, Shane’s the one to ask as he keeps up with what’s happening or happened in the world of music.
We really aren't sure what Steven's last name is. All we know is that he works on the weekend and fills in sometimes during the week too. He's also the production director at Duhamel Broadcasting. We're not really sure what that means either. We think he's the one that keeps stealing pens though but we haven't caught him yet.
